What are the four propositions of Easter? This is David Wheaton, host of The Christian Worldview.
Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15: For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time.
Christ died, was buried, raised, and appeared to many. These are four assertions that make Christianity unique. All other religious leaders died and are still dead. This Easter, remember that Jesus Christ is a living Savior and Lord!
This Redemption Weekend, we’ll discuss what it means that Christ is the believer’s high priest.
