Should Christians be Zionists? This is David Wheaton, host of The Christian Worldview.
A Christian Zionist believes that the Jews have a right to live in their historic homeland of Israel and that God will fulfill promises He made to His chosen people.
This contrasts with replacement theology or supersessionism, where the church, made up of both Gentiles and Jews, is viewed as replacing any significance for ethnic Israel.
The apostle Paul says in Romans 11: “God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew.”
Christians should pray for and support whom God supports.
