The apostle Paul said, “For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord.”
Other religions and philosophies have moral teachings, corporate gatherings, and beliefs about origins and the afterlife.
But the person and work of Jesus Christ is what is truly unique about Christianity. God became a man, lived a sinless life, died as the payment for sin, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and promises to return again.
Mohammed, Buddha, and all the rest died and are still dead. Jesus Christ is the living Lord and Savior and that is why it’s important to preach and proclaim repentance and trust in Him.
