What should we learn from the election?  This is David Wheaton, host of The Christian Worldview.

It was a long and bruising presidential campaign.  There was the primary season, the debates, media bias, wrong polls, scathing remarks, scandals, and finally a surprising win by Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton.

Proverbs 18:15 says, “An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.”

While it might seem desirable to shake off the dust and move on from this election, there are some important things that Christians should learn from the past 18 months.

Above all, we need to pray for our new president, that he would humbly seek God’s will.

This weekend, we’ll discuss the importance of the pursuit of sanctification.
