Urban problems, biblical solutions. This is David Wheaton, host of The Christian Worldview.

While poverty, fatherless homes, out of wedlock births, abortion, murder, and drug use exist all across America, the large urban centers of our country, populated mainly by minority groups, are particularly characterized by these problems.

50 years after civil rights, some point to “societal injustice and racism” as the cause of urban trouble, while others say that government welfare discourages work and nuclear families.

Whatever the reasons, real change comes when Christians and church proclaim the gospel of repentance and faith in Christ and show it through helping hands.

This weekend, we’ll talk about having assurance of salvation.
