In the New Testament, the apostle Paul writes, “All Scripture is inspired by God…”

That God divinely directed the 40 human authors of the Bible is foundational. Because if he didn’t, then Scripture is the words of fallen man and not the true word of God.

The good news is that God didn’t create everything and leave us in the dark about His character and will. No, He inspired a book so we can know who He is and how we should follow Him. In other words, He is the God who speaks.
